Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for handling the day-to-day inventory responsibilities, across multiple facilities, so as to provide support to the other organizational functions. This position is also responsible for maintaining records of quantity and value for the material stocked in the warehouse, reviewing levels of consumables/supplies and performing a daily analysis. The Inventory Control Manager will be a motivational leader for an Inventory Team.
Essential Responsibilities:

Develop efficient and engaged inventory team members.

Verify the list of products that are warehoused, and maintain adequate inventory levels

Examine the levels of supplies to determine shortages and track reorder points
-
Assign tags and labels for all warehoused merchandise

Making note and report damaged, lost, and stolen goods
-
Monitoring the inventory turnover ratio
-
Analyze inbound/new inventory requirements and determine process

Perform cycle counts, wall to wall counts

Producing Inventory Reports

Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems

Recruit and train new employees
Skills and Specifications:
-
5+ yrs experience working in Inventory Control, posting Cycle Counts and Physical Counts
-
Proven leadership skills and abilities
-
Knowledge and understanding of inventory programs and software

Experience in Inventory Reconciliation

Experience in Warehouse Management Systems
-
4 yr. degree or equivalent experience

Strong computer skills in MS Office with proficiency in Excel

Self-motivated
-
Should possess good mathematical and analytical skill sets

Have an analytical mind with strong attention to detail

Ability and effectiveness to manage time to meet set targets and deadlines

Forklift experience strongly preferred
